Why are so many features missing

Geez. Every time I try to use a feature on Photoshop for iPad, I get a message saying "this feature isn't available on mobile devices." I can use the brush feature or resize an image. Tell me again why Photoshop for iPad is a good idea? Will basic features EVER be fully implemented on the iPad?

Yes, the features are coming.  I understand the frustration,  but more features are on the way.  Its a work in progress.
