Ability to disable backup?

I know it's not possible now, but can such capability be added?

This feature has been asked years ago (first request in this forum in 2015), but still not implemented.

I understand you hope to monetize the app by making us upload more than 2GB of images, but a) that's not going to happen if we stop using the app as we don't have control over what goes in the cloud b) there are many other ways to monetize such photo apps - and you are using some in PS express for example.

It's a basic privacy control that I'm shocked in this day and age is not being offered.
