I am trying to make a file with a large canvas size (2k by 1k) but much smaller individual layers within it, but the program refuses to downsize the imported images to the appropriate size, stopping at a totally arbitrary limit and not going smaller. Expanding my canvas to 2x original size did not change, as the arbitrary lower limit for the imported images just scaled with that. How can i resize layers to a specific value?
