I have to think I'm doing something wrong, but I'm struggling to even see how I could miss something in an interface this pared down.
Regardless of which image I open, I am never able to actually subtract in the manner that is illustrated in the tutorial. Try as I will, I select Subtract and then I try to draw out the area to remove and nothing happens. Ever.
I can use Auto but that always results in a mangled result. Please let me know if I'm missing some crucial step in order to actually do the removal that appears to be one of the core functions.
