Layer with transparent PNG in Photoshop Mix

I love using Photoshop Mix on my iPad. Its an intuitive excellent little app and a great addition to my iPad's repertoire. Congratulations and eep up the good work!!

However, when I import a transparent PNG image into Photoshop Mix from Photos into a layer on my iPad I would expect lower layers to be visible through the transparent areas of the image. Instead I have to use the CutOut feature to "remove" the already transparent parts of the image. Having to cut out these areas seems to be a redundant step to me.

is this a misunderstanding on my part or is this an enhancement that could be added in a future release to make Photoshop Mix even more intuitive?

Thanks,

Robert

Hi Robert,

As of now transparency is not supported, you may suggest it as a feature here: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family This forum is monitored by our engineering team and they might look into this for future releases.

Sahil
