Please fix the screen layout on iPad Pro - typing text is impossible

On iPad Pro, the screen is formatted incorrectly, such that the area where you type in text is hidden behind the keyboard, so you can't see what you're typing, position the cursor to select or edit already typed text, it's just broken. 

It's been this way for quite a while, and really needs to be addressed. Screenshot attached.
