Are you still facing the issues importing the transparent PNG?
Have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app?
Issue still happening.
Will reinstall app now and try again.
Same issue after reinstall.
Declan, I am getting this checked for you.
Also experiencing the same issue where png file looses transparent background after being uploaded
issue started today
never experienced this issue before
I too was able to reproduce this issue and I have already reported it to the concerned team and they are working on a fix for the same.
I will update the thread as soon as I hear from them.
Awesome great work and prompt reply,
looking forward to a fix and finding out what caused the issue so we do not duplicate it
Still waiting on reply,
Any word on what caused this issue as again its new and i have not experienced this before
Apologize for the delay in responding.
I was assuming that I had already informed you.
Could you please try the simple steps with it to see if it still is an issue?
Do share the results.
I've had trouble with PNGs.
Is it transparent on device when viewed outside of Mix? If not, then it might be the method you use to get PNG onto device. Gmail seems to turn transparent background white - I assume it flattens the image to save file size. Try using Creative Cloud to transfer the image.
Or try saving the image as a PDF rather than PNG.
Thank you so much!! i was having the same problem and this was the solution
The solution is to (instead of "saving" it) exporting your graphics in Photoshop as a 32-bit PNG (standard if you export with the tick in the box for PNG-transparency) which will make the transparency "true" making it show how you intended in more/all apps that support transparency/alpha channels. For instance this changes the results for the iOS13/Photos app! 🙂 You can read more about this here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/export-artboards-layers.html
