Hi

Photoshop v22 requires a CPU that supports SSE4.2 or later.

If you can open an older version and look in Photoshop Help > System info around about the 4th line should read something like this

System architecture: Intel CPU Family:6, Model:13, Stepping:7 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX, HyperThreading

If your CPU does not support SSE4.2 then you are limited to using Photoshop v21 or earlier. For more info see here:
