This is a user Forum, so you are not really addressing Adobe here, even though some Adobe employees thankfully have been dropping by.

I wonder though if this might be one of the things that are essentially already possible via Scripting.
Try recording the change with ScriptingListener.plugin – does it record usable code?

A customer service suggested me talk about it in the community...
Like I mentioned it might be possible to Script the switch (and assign the Script a Keyboard Shortcut).
Sorry, I just tried and I could so far not get usable code for the kys-switch.
Hmm, maybe one could edit »Keyboard Shortcuts.psp« in the Preferences …
