2021 version crashing when using brushes

I've just downloaded the latest 2021 version and it now constantly crashes when using the brushes. Anybody able to help identify what the problem might be or a workaround if it is a known issue? Below is the report from my Windows 10 log follow errors. As suggested in the forum I have already reset my preferences.
