22.3 keeps freezing and crashing!

I just updated to Adobe Photoshop Version: 22.3.0 20210302.r.49 660cd2e x64

It is slow, it lags, it will crash when opening a picture or working on one. The tools are extremly slow. It freezes often and you have to go into task manager to shut it down to restart. This is ridiculous. I've restarted my laptop. Windows 10 is up to date. Can anyone explain this?

Same problems.  When I try to open a file or do a "save as" it will freeze.

This is not a fix but a work-around. The Adobe Creative Cloud app allows for multiple versions of programs, including Photoshop, to be simultaneously installed. You could at least continue to work with an earlier version while you solve the current problem.
