22.4.1 - Update unable the 'Select object' option

Hi everyone!

My Photoshop just updated to 22.4.1 version, for windows.

Now I can't select an object by clicking on it or by selecting the layer manually.

It's only working with the Ctrl+T shortcut.

Also, the Workspaces I had created disapeard!

How can I reactivate this basic option?

This part is a little bit confusing:

What exactly you mean? It was never feature to click on object and select it unless you use Magic Wand but that is also questionable whether you can select every object.

-Selecting layer manually - do you want to ask for Ctrl + click on layers thumbnail? That should select what is on layer, if you have object surrounded with transparency then that can do trick. Is that broken, does not work?

Did you previously have Autoselect layers checked (Move tool - options bar)?

I wasn't remembering the name of the tool but that's it! - all a needed to know! 🙂

I think in the past, with the Path selection tool, we could select the layer object and it changed automatically to the Move Tool... no?
