Why is there every time a 55 GB Photoshop TMP and a 15 GB Photoshop TMP clogging up my harddrive??? I keep removing them but it recreates itself

What are you processing in Photoshop. What have you been doing in Photoshop. Doing some batch processing with a script I have seem Photoshop use over 100GB of scratch space on my machine. It is all returned to free space when you close Photoshop.
