Abrir archivo extensión HEIC en Photoshop (windows)

Quisiera abrir una fotografía con formato HEIC en Photoshop.

With Windows, you have to convert the file to a dng using Lightroom.

Pero piensan algún día incluir el HEIC a un formato estándar de photoshop?

Y si no tengo lightroom instalado?

This is a user Forum, so you are not really addressing Adobe here, even though some Adobe employees thankfully have been dropping by.

If you have the photo plan, it includes Lightroom,  so you can install it. I don't know if Adobe will include that with Windows. I would think so.

Si. Pero me parece una tontería tener que instalar dos programas iguales. Y nunca he usado lightroom. E instalarlo simplemente para exportar unas fotografías a PNG, me parece simplemente un insulto para el usuario.

Nunca he comprendido el funcionamiento y uso de lightroom. Prefiero tener mis carpetas de fotografías organizadas y pasar de álbumes y complicaciones... Dos aplicaciones iguales no lo veo muy productivo. 

me parece un atraso, que Adobe no haga a photoshop compatible con HEIC.

Camera Raw itself should recognize HEIC according to this

Lightroom and Photoshop are two very much different applications.

No me gusta el funcionamiento de lightroom. Nunca lo he entendido. 

Al final, me instalé affinity photo que sin problemas abrió la foto.
