I have a Nikon D7100 converted to IR. After importing photos with Nikon NX-D and adjusting the white balance I select Edit in Photoshop 2021. The original imported photo opens in ACR without the white balance adjustment. Can anyone offer a solution on how to export from NX-D to PS 2021 and the photo not open automatically in ACR?

Windows 10, NEF file

RAW files and files with settings (ACR settings) depend on configuration in prefereneces will always open in ACR first. If you want to avoid this then change preferences what to open in ACR (JPEG and TIFF with settings or any supported JPEG and TIFF without settings) or change (convert) file format to JPG, TIFF, PSD as already suggested by @Jeff Arola
