Hey everyone,
I've got a problem at the moment, for some reason, Adobe Creative Cloud isn't alerting me with any new updates. At the moment my creative cloud reads that I have updated all my app's and that they are all up to date, yet I know today Photoshop 14.1 with Generator was released, yet I can't seem to download it.
On my Desktop however, I was prompted to download a lot of updates, downloaded them all, but to my surprise, photoshop wasn't an app included with an update, or at least it's still 14.0.
Is there any way I can fix this? I've been searching and searching and unable to find an answer.
Thank's for your help.
Please Update CC App from following link:
http://www.adobe.com/appsmanager/index.html
Once done check for updates, If this still does not solve the problem, I will contact persons individually to resolve this.

Ashutosh

It may take a few hours for it to copy all around the world.
If it doesn't update by this time tomorrow, then there might be a problem.
(and for me, the Creative Cloud app crashed 😞 )

Thanks Chris, I'll check tomorrow.

I usually quit the CC app (under CC preferences) and restart it. Then it catches the update.
Installing 14.1 did reset my prefs, so I had to go into Preferences and re-apply my old settings.

As Chris mentioned it takes time for Update to get reflected on your CC app.
Resolution is to Quit and Relaunch your app as Gene suggested, this would list all the recent live updates.

I’ve relaunched the CC app to no avail, the update doesn’t appear for me (in the UK) I’ll try again tomorrow.

@ Chunk Group,
Ideally quitting and launching CC app should have worked.
Please check updates through Photoshop->Help->Updates.

Day 2: Nothing yet.
I've tried relaunching CC as I would have thought that would be the first thing to try. I guess it's still not available here (Australia).
Photoshop > Help > Updates is gray/unclickable.

The Help / Updates will be gray for a few moments when you first start up Photoshop, but under normal conditions should eventually be become enabled, even if there are no updates available. I have imagined that PS is checking with Adobe servers or at least the local licensing services to make sure it is properly activated before it allows updates.

I wish this were true, but I've been checking the Update button constantly since the update came out, and it's still grey.

Yeah, I'm not seeing the updates at home, either.
We have someone looking into it.

I have the same. It's two days now, and rebooting CC or the Mac didn't do anything. CC is up to date. If I check Photoshop > help > updates it says I'm all OK all up to date.
Thanks for investigating.

Neither relaunching the CC app nor rebooting has fixed the issue. I have just tried Photoshop->Help->Updates and am still told that there are no updates available.
My colleague has successfully updated his version to 14.1 and he sits right next to me, so it can’t be a regional thing. He is on a separate Adobe user account from me.

My laptop updated successfully too.
On the mac that didn't upgrade, I still have CS6 installed... if that's any helpful

I'm having the same trouble, I'm in the UK.
My Mac at home which is on the same account has got the update, but my work mac mini doesn't catch the update:
- greyed out 'updates' on the help menu
- restarting CC app manager does not show any new updates

Hi Louislouis210S,
Could you please confirm if you are in an enterprise enviornment and could you please check with your Admin if he has disabled/supressed updates from Adobe and hosting in on a local server.

Make sure your updates are not disabled by admin, If so remove the files which suppress updates as mentioned in the link.
In future your Admin needs to make sure that either he rolls out the update package or they are not suppressed.

This post has been ongoing for some time now--presumably people are having the same problem from time to time. I've just encountered it today...
Updated work Mac to all new CC 2015 apps today; came home to do the same on my iMac, but not all updates are available. Illustrator showed an update, which has been installed--but all other apps are showing as up to date, when they are not. I'd really rather avoid uninstalling / reinstalling all applications. Any solutions much appreciated.

Hi BNA,
If/when necessary, you can always get the updates by downloading and applying the app patches yourself:
All Adobe CC 2015 Updates: Direct Download Links for Mac
All Adobe CC 2015 Updates: Direct Download Links for Windows
That way you can manually update the tools. Also useful for backup, or if you have any machines offline or with slower Internet connections.
Hope that helps!

I had the same problem. I just logged out of the CC desktop app, logged back in again and I could see the option to download the latest updates for all apps.

I've been having the exact same problem, and I've finally got the 14.1 Update downloading.
I had to try about everything before the update appeared as available.
1. Tried restarting photoshop
2. Tried restarting Creative Cloud
3. Checked for updates under "Help/Updates"
4. Uninstalled and Reinstalled Creative Cloud Desktop
5. Uninstalled Photoshop CC completely
6. Reinstalled Photoshop CC
7. Still was on 14.0 and Creative Cloud Desktop still said no updates were available
8. In Photoshop went to Help/Updates in the menu and the 14.1 update FINALLY appeared.
I'm guessing that it was becuase I completely unistalled Photoshop. Total pain, but I'm glad I finally have the update downloading.

Hopefully there's a way of doing this without a complete reinstall. I would hate to have this happen to my team members having the same problem, it would just take too long to fix/reinstate all photoshop presets, brushes, plugins, etc.
Not to mention any other programs I'd have to unsinstall because they arent getting updates either.

That's actually a very useful, and none too easy to find link Ashutosh, and I'd thoroughly reccommend anyone with a CC subscription to bookmark it.
My CC desktop app stopped working just about the same time that 14.1 was released, and nothing short of an unistall and reinstall got it going again. Thankfully it saw all my installed CC apps.

So I just got home and tried the same on my laptop. Problem is, there were lots of updates but not for Photoshop. Updates isn't greyed out anymore, but it cant seem to find anything past 14.0.
Update - I've tried:
• Deleting the file that supresses updates
• Uninstalling CC Client
• Reinstalling CC Client
• Restarting Photoshop
• Trying Help > Updates (this reveals no new updates - states I am up to date)
Photoshop is still on 14.0
Update 2 - With wonderful help from @Ashutosh.Nigam I've been able to resolve this.
Another file that the old I.T. guy must have somehow installed on my personal machine without permission.
Thanks Again. I really appreciate all the help.

No error message.
Just "Your applications are all up-to-date as checked: less than a minute ago."
UPDATE:
I just went into Preferences of Adobe Appllication Manager and only the Bridge was selected for reporting updates... selected all the rest and the updates are showing up in Application Manager.
Creative Cloud app in the menu still doesn't see the updates...

Bah, I'm re-installing CC as we speak, but I don't see any updates for any of the apps I have installed (PS CC/PS CS6/Id/Ai/Dw).
I've tried removing/reinstalling both application manager and the CC app a couple of times. Help>Update doesn't do it either. Just says there are no updates. Meanwhile I'm stuck on 14.0.
I'll let you know how I go after reinstalling.

If by enterprise environment you mean in a company; yes. I'm a system admin for my system though.
Maybe it had something to do with me logging into Adobe.com with my personal account (on which I have a subscription to CC as well).
Regardless, I deleted & reinstalled Photoshop CC and that fixed all issues with updating.
Ps.: worth to note that:
- an update had failed for me before all this started
- "seemingly" the update worked after some messing around with files
- I ended up with Photoshop CC 14.0, that couldn't open (normal, non layered / non-fireworks) PNG files.
Very strange, but again, reinstalling fixed the issues.

Hi Astro,
In response to your PM – yes, there are the direct download links for the Adobe Photoshop CC 14.1.2/Generator update and here they are:
http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html/comment- page-3#comment-45452
They do require an earlier version of Photoshop CC already being installed on your computer for the patch to apply properly.
(And be sure to follow the important download instructions at the top of the main page there in order for the direct links to work.)

I have CC installed on a small computer lab of 20 computers. This is a device licensed set up.
Currently, CC will not update any of the products.
I've have tried, restarting the CC app.
The help file shows as grayed out, not an option.
Do these files exist for device licensed installs? the ones that I can remove to enable updates properly? If so, could some one send me a link or give me some info on how to remove those to get things updating.
Thanks for any and all help.

Mine was the Photoshop CC Enterprise edition and all the updates were disabled by my Admin by default. However, after getting the approval from my manager i have requested Adobe to help me out to fix this. There is one file/folder that needs to be deleted or atleast should not have anything in it to get the updates enabled. I can't name that file here i guess. But after disabling it / deleting it / renaming it to another name and restarting the photoshop, bang the updates are enabled and they are back.
Well, thanks to the Adobe Staff Member Ashutosh for helping me out on this.
