If I try to [Open] from Creative Cloud, I hear a chime
Attempting to run from the start menu gives the error:
[  Error ]
An unrecoverable problem has occurred. Photoshop will now exit.

I tried rebooting, unsinstalling and reinstalling (and rebooting again).

Still cannot run Photoshop

Thanks for trying to help.

Tried to get help from Adobe.

After 2 hours on hold, they hung up on me.

I guess when only a very small percentage  of all people have a problem and you have a cash cow like Creative Cloud that is only available on a subscription basis, you really don't care about providing support anymore.  I guess they did the math and it isn't worth their time to provide technical support anymore.

There doesn't even appear to be a way to open a support ticket anymore.  I remember when I first started using Photoshop -- support for the product was incredible.

Now it's just 'try to fi it yourself' or 'look online for help'

After completely uninstalling all of Creative Cloud and resinstalling again with many, many reboots inbetween and manually removing remnants from the registry, I'm able to run Photoshop, a product I paid for, but depite that payment could not run

I have the same issue -- will not run.  Nothing in the event viewer.  No log that I can find.
