After converting a layer to 3d, when I try anything in the 3d panel, my layer dissapears

Using the 3d feature.   I cannot rotate, remove shadows, change layer depth.   whatever I click on within the 3d environment, my layer will dissapear.  

 

I am using my GPU.   nvidia gtx 2060  

 

 

I use the 3d settings on my laptop with no issues.   (so I am familiar with how it works) however on my desktop, I cannot do anything in the 3d environment.   any thoughts?

I don’t have a solution, but maybe if you try to reset the preferences will work, here the instructions:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Another option: install a previous version of Photoshop

Go to the creative cloud app and click on the 3 dots next to Photoshop app to see more options and select other versions

you can install a previous version of Photoshop and maybe that will work, sometimes there are bugs and you have to update the system
