After the newest update, all of my patterns have disappeared. 2/26/21

All of my patterns, including my legacy and default patterns, have disappeared.  The default patterns are not that much a problem since I figured out how to reload them in, but I had hundreds of patterns I had downloaded from all over that are now gone.  It also affects any documents I reopen that use patterns.

Is there any way to restore them?

If you downloaded patterns then re-load them from disc.
