Today I've suddenly had this error 3 or 4 times, usually right after saving my document. No matter what tool I was on, it suddenly switches to the regular mouse cursor, and I cannot interact with the canvas. I can click on menus and windows and interact with the frame of Photoshop just fine, and switch between tools either by clicking on them or using keyboard shortcuts. But my cursor remains the same classic mouse arrow, and nothing happens to the canvas. I can't even pan or zoom.
I'm currently talking to support in Live Chat but their responses are very slow, so I'm checking in here as well. So far they've gotten me to back up my settings and presets, and do a setting reset of Photoshop (I did this by holding command + option + shift while opening PS and deleting all the settings). The error still occurred after that.
Mac OS 11.1
Photoshop 2020 (2021 has other issues for me so I have to keep using 2020 right now)
Mouse and keyboard only, no tablet or external software being used.
