Animated GIF Save for Web not working in 2019

To be brought to the attention of the people at Adobe who work on Photoshop:

I have a .mp4 file, 1920x1080px, that I am bringing into Photoshop 2019 to make into an animated GIF. When I do the Save for Web, it gives the error message "Could not complete this operation. An unknown error has occurred." However, it works fine when I do the same thing in Photoshop 2018. Please fix in Photoshop 2019.

Sorry to hear about the error, let's make it right.

As Save for Web is not working in Photoshop, could you please share Photoshop's Help>System Info dialog text here? As it would be helpful for us to troubleshoot the issue.

Have you tried resetting the preferences of Photoshop and see if that helps? Preferences in Photoshop

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes and actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings

Reset preferences with the keyboard shortcut and still doesn't work in 2019. Here is the System Info:

Thanks for sharing the system info, it seems that you're using an older version of Photoshop, could you please try updating Photoshop to version 20.0.5 via the Creative Cloud desktop app and let us know if it helps with the issue?

Hello, I have the same issue and I installed Photoshop not even one week ago so I guess is the latest version available. Funny enough it works when I tried to create an animated GIF from a 9sec video but not from a 12sec video. Is there a time limitation in creating animated gif? I couldn't find any in PS info. Thanks

Are they coming both from the same camera, with the same settings?

the MOVs where created in After Effects and are two different animations. Same parameters, just different lenght.
