Animated gif

Does anyone recognise the program that created the animated gif as per attachment? My client as after a similar effect. It looks like it was created in a program rather than making it manually.

That's a basic write-on animation and a block wipe as can be created in After Effects or similar programs.

Thanks, Mylenium, are you able to create this effect in After Effects and if so, what would the price be, please? Altho I could (& should) learn After Effects, I currently don't have the capacity to do this. This is for a client.

Hi Mylenium, I did the animation in After Effects by adding a mask layer & animating it - thanks for your advice on this. It reminds me of the animation work I used to do in Flash. I'm just not sure how to do the dissolve transition at the end tho, as none of the presets seem to be the same as the sample supplied by the client. Any advice would be appreciated, please. The dissolve looks like either white particles appearing over the top of the text or white shapes tweened (stopwatch the change to shape paths) to get bigger to cover the text in random spots.

recently did something similar to photoshop. you delete the logo and make screenshots, and then you animate it
