Hi,
Does anyone have any news on when photoshop will support Apple's M1 chip (and I don't mean the Beta version of the software).
We treated our daughter to a new laptop at christmas as she'd just started photography at school and of course she can't use photoshop on it.

Hopefully there's support in a release coming soon.

Thanks and regards,

>>>she can't use photoshop on it.

The current version of Photoshop still runs on M1 laptops via the built-in Rosetta 2 dynamic translator.

The native M1 version - currently in beta - will naturally run faster but running under Rosetta 2 should be OK for now.

given that Adobe only just started working on it I expect another year at least before you have a working native driver for M1
