Is it possible to do this in photoshop? I would like to ads my texture to the .obj without having to fix all 6 sides of the object manually which will also create ugly seams.

Photoshop does not  have a weapon support feature that I know of. Photoshop is not really a 3D application its a Image editor that has some basic 3D feature. You need a real 3D Application.
