Auto select does not work when using artboards, keeps selecting artboard instead of group.

 If I have a group I want to auto select it selects the artboard. If I set it to layers it won't select the group. working with Artboards in illustrator seems much more intuative. You would never select an artboard in illustrator unless you were in the artboard tool.

Which version of Photoshop and OS you are using. Everything works fine with latest Ps on Windows 10.
