Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible? 

 

And please explain what you mean exactly. 

Though I am afraid you may be wasting your time with Photoshop if your work is primarily type-related.

When i wrie in this , i am making the words stretch to fit the lenght of the ones above. This is what im trying to do, but its not suppose to appear as if the words are stretched. Don't know if that makes sense. For example,
