Brush thickness based on length

Hello, is it possible to make the thickness for example start at 0 and be at 100% where-ever you finish your stroke?

You can use the option  "simulate pen pressure" for stroke path.

make sure to select "pen pressure " from the brush settings "size jitter: pen pressure " before applying the stoke on the path

Best method is to make a work path that follows your intended brush stroke.

Set brush size control to Fade You'll need some trial and error to work out the fade value.

Then stroke the path on a new layer

Note that I have shown right clicking the path to initiate the stroke, but having done that once you can just click on the stroke icon which is the ring second from the left at the bottom of the path.
