Camera Raw freezing my computer

When I open an  image in Camera Raw either directly from Bridge or via the filter in Photoshop, when I try to edit it  freezes my whole computer and I have to turn the computer off manually!! I have Mac OS Catalina and the Camera Raw is version 13.1.  It is driving my insane!   It is not fit for purpose!

The problem is a buggy video driver. Try to update it.

In the meantime, go into Camera Raw preferences (from either Bridge or Photoshop), and uncheck "use graphics processor".
