Camera Raw

Hello there

I shoot in Camera Raw because I was told that post processing would be easier. My problem is, if I go to edit in photoshop from lightroom CC it opens the image in Camera Raw and has no option to close it. I just want to edit in photoshop as all of this post processesing is new to me. Is there something wrong with the program?
