Because...yikes. CPU is a little on the slow side but the RAM...whoo-boy...that's just a little over the bare minimum to run Photoshop. You're definitely going to have some page file swapping (i.e., really slow response) going on.

When Photoshop runs out of available RAM, it starts to use your hard drive as memory, which can be much slower than conventional RAM.

Definitely look into upgrading the RAM before anything else. It will make quite a difference.

Yes if tit support RAM Upgrade, u can search on google "Is dell N5030 ram upgradeable?"

1st use cpu-z to check your ram type (DDR1, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4)

2nd search "(your ram type) + (how many gig's) + (laptop/pc) ex: "ddr4 8gb latop ram

3rd carefully open your pc/laptop

4th carefully replace the ram

5th carefully put back all the screws

6th Enjoy your new ram

It comes with 3GB ram, when 8 GB is recommended. Invest in some memory.

Memory sticks are easy to install.

An SSD will really speed things up and can be user installed.

Good options if a new laptop is out of the question.
