Can't open Jpeg, Says not recognize PDF

This is a first, I cannot open a jpeg in PS on my new Macbook Air , error box says done not recognize a PDF...?  any ideas?

right click over the file and ask for GET INFO

there go to the option OPEN WITH select the software PS and click on CHANGE ALL

Hi, maybe is the extension, and possible solutions

change the name of your file using the .jpeg

How do you open the file, double click? or from PS>

I am having a problem where people I have sent a PDF to cant open them and other gets a message that says the following......how can I sort this?

Murrae24788705hyog, nothing is wrong. This is a perfectly normal warning. Read it carefully, and if you consider the PDF is from a "trustworthing source", as the message says, then open it.

These files are out of camera Canon jpegs. Nothing change, nothing wrong with them.  Maybe somone else has an idea seen this bizarre hew PS bug.

Thanks Eugenio, seemed to self reslove anyway. But I'll  remember the get info trick.  Get info set to open jpegs with Preview, which is ok, I usually drop the jpeg onto the PS icon on dock and open, never see this before, " not valid PDF"

 

Went away, any idea why was occuring?

I am so glad that it worked, 

If you open Adobe Brifge you can handle the file association from the preferences

but I don't know why apple decide to open the JPG with preview
