When opening a new file I get a black screen and Adobe Photoshop never actually opens.

Does Adobe provide actual trouble shooting support?

A few things you could try. Please let us know if you want to try these but don't know how.

• Reset the Photoshop Preferences
• Uninstall and then reinstall Photoshop via the Creative Cloud app

• Install and test another version of Photoshop through the Creative Cloud app. Multiple versions of Photoshop can be simultaneously installed.
