I opened my desktop copy of Photoshop for the first time in a while to do some coloring on a piece of art (I've been using Fresco on my iPad a lot lately) and PS won't allow me to rotate my canvas anymore due to an OpenGL error of some sort. I did some searching on the forums and found a few other threads, but the button I need in the Preferences >> Performance >> Advanced Settings is greyed out and I can't select it.
I'm using:
Photoshop 2020, v. 21.2.0
iMac (mid 2011), OS X 10.13.6 High Sierra (I can't update to any newer OS due to the age of my computer)
Not sure what to do. I don't know anything about graphics cards or the more advanced settings that some of the forums talk about. If anyone has any suggestions for what to try, I'd appreciate it. (Is it possible to maybe install an older version of Photoshop that won't require any new graphics cards perhaps. . .?)

So I found another thread that recommended reverting to an older version of Photoshop. I ended up chatting with an Adobe rep online about how to do so and he sent me a direct link to the 21.0 installer file which did end up fixing my canvas rotating problem, so YAY! Feel free to mark this thread as solved.

No luck, it seems. I unclicked the following button on the Preferences > Performance page:
I then restarted both my computer and PS and now when I try to rotate the canvas it comes up with an error saying "Could not complete your request because it only works with OpenGL enabled document windows."
Any other suggestions of what I could try?
