Hi

There are many things that InDesign can do with type that PS cannot. Changing the size in percentage for small caps is one. Photoshop at its core is an image editor. InDesign is the best application when it comes to setting type.

Yeah well I figured the boys would have added this by now. I forgot I even asked the question. I'm quite aware what each app is and how they are used. thanks.

Hi Biko,

You can make a feature request here for the product development team:
https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family
There are so very many type features "missing" from PS, though. It really shouldn't be used for setting type.

yes I know all about type and how it should be set and there are workarounds to the issue concerning PS. You never know the boys could have added it and hidden it in some weird menu, that's never happened before. No need to wory about me the answer is still no.
