I cannot get PS to set crop at 100px using the two fields upper crop  fields. I put 100px twice, crops a square and keeps jpeg at 492. Also cannot save preset, tried twice, no luck.

Not exactly intuirive stuff here, thank God for forum!

Hi @larry45

I tried to use the same settings as you:

  • Width: 100 px; Height: 100 px
  • Resolution: blank
  • Preset: W x H x Resolution, but without a custom name of "100 x 100 px"

The image was 3000 x 3000 px and was cropped to 100 x 100 px.

Can you clarify what is happening to you that I am not seeing?

Did you enter a resolution as well? otherwise you just made it a 1x1 square crop.

Thanks Jane, I'll be darned with new bland white sheet, everything great, even saved preset. So not sure why before, on real image having issues. Thanks for reminding me to test things on new sheet.
