This has been going on for some time but it is now worse since the latest update. Typically takes about 18 seconds or so to open a single raw file from a Canon 5D SR. Now the file sizes are nearly 70mb in some cases but I do have a reasonably fast system.
128GB Ram, Nvidia Titan RTX GPU, AMD Ryzen 9 3900 Firecuda M2 and Sabrent M2 drives.
I do have Acronis but even switched off that makes no difference to the timings.
Editing a wedding or studio shoot takes a long time with that sort of delay.
Any ideas or suggestions welcome.
