Canon R support in ACR - Something is wrong with white balance reading

Greetings all,

I've recently purchased the Canon R mirrorless camera and have found that white balance readings in ACR and Lr to be skewed by about 3000-4000 degrees.  For example, I typically shoot manual kelvin in camera at around 6500-8500K.  When I open these RAW files in ACR/Lr, they're registering at 10,000 - 12750K on the white balance slider. I can only think that there is a bug in the way Adobe is reading the CR3 RAW files.  I've seen this in the past with the 5d2 and 5d3 but NOT to this extent.  I think the 5d2 was always about 1000K less or so and the 5d3 was pretty right on with the reading of white balance in the RAW files. Has anyone else had this experience?
