Canvas rotate with trackpad not working in Photoshop 21.2.4

Running Photoshop CC 21.2.4 on Mac OS 10.13.6, using a Apple Magic Trackpad and a Wacom Cintiq. The desktop CC app recently updated my Photoshop to the latest version, enabling cloud sharing of documents to mobile, which is a great feature. But since the update, I can no longer rotate the image on my desktop applcation using the two-finger gesture. Pinch and zoom still work as usual. It's inconceivable to me that Adobe intends this pro feature to be disabled. Can anyone help?!
