Certain Visible Layers Prevent Save

I have a document with an artboard. When I have certain layers visible, it gives me the error "Could not save 'Striped.psd' because of a program error." when trying to save the document. If I hide these layers, the document saves just fine. They are simple brush strokes on an empty layer, nothing fancy or different.
