Classic mode crop problem

I am used to moving the 'lines' over the photo and not moving the photo underneath the lines so I tried classic mode in my new Photoshop 22.1.1.
The problem is that in classic mode there are no lines and handles visible.
Going in back the new mode the lines and (ridiculously large) handles are back.
The only thing I found that helps is in new mode move the photo a bit and then go into classic mode, that way the lines and handles stay for classic mode.
It's way to complicated and takes too long so would like a solution for this.

Thanks, I had not thought of that.
It works of course but although it's a bit quicker than my workaround, I still find it not exactly the simple solution I'd like.
It feels like a bug and I hope that there is a way of just getting the lines back or that Adobe fixes this in the (near)future.
