Computer very slow with Photoshop 2019

Since upgrading to photoshop 2019 from CS6, my imac is running very slowly when using photoshop. What am I missing?

We are missing information about your iMac machine hardware, configuration, and mac OS version. Posting your  Photoshop CS6 menu Help>System Info may help. Also have you installed the CS6 updates. CS6 is very unstable without the cs6 fixes.

Hi, could you share the technical specifications of your iMac?

Please share information regarding your system. As software features grow, so do system requirements.  However, this can be as simple as how you have Photoshop configured to allocate memory and scratch disk.
