Content disappears (empty work area) when moving across monitors

I have this rather annoying issue when moving my open document (actually moving the whole Photoshop window): I end up with an empty window, although I can see that the layers are visible as well as the channels, but no image at all. Bringing the window back to the original monitor doesn't help and I have to close the document and open it again.
I am on Mac, Big Sur, and I have this issue both with the new Beta version and Photoshop 2021. I am launching Photoshop with the second monitor already connected and on.
