Hi I am a new subscriber to Photoshop 2019 and I am having a problem opening my files from bridge 2021 while in my Photoshop.  Every time I try to open I get a message that says must use illustrator.  I don't have illustrator anymore nor do I have access to it, so how do I get bridge to allow me to open my files in PS?  Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi @Emmanuel& ,

You can associate file types to Ps in Bridge.

Choose Preferences > File Type Associations.

Find the format, in your case Illustraotr (ai, ait) and Choose Adobe Photoshop 2021 from the dropdown list.

NB: Things may shift around based on what was done in Ai.

Hi! If changing the preferences in Bridge does not work, have you tried opening them from Photoshop? Bypassing Bridge and using Photoshop directly to open them should work with any jpg or png file.
