Hi there,

Sorry that you're getting a program error while loading Photoshop 2021.

If you've recently updated to the latest version 2021 of Photoshop, please note that this is a known issue and our engineers are working on it. Meanwhile, please checkout the following workaround:

Restore preferences:

Troubleshoot your graphics card:

  • Go to Preferences > Performance and uncheck Use Graphics Processor and restart Photoshop.
  • If your files open successfully, you can then update the GPU driver, reboot your computer, then re-enable Use Graphics Processor in the Performance Preferences, and restart Photoshop.

See Troubleshoot Photoshop graphics processor (GPU) and graphics driver issues

Update your hardware:

  • For older graphics cards, updating the driver may not fix this for you. You may need a more modern graphics card.
