Could not initialize Photoshop CC2018 because of a disk error

Hi all,

I am using a Win 8.1 Pro with the latest running PS version. This is PS-CC 2018. I know, that there is no update possible.

But today I see an error message during startup of PS: "Could not initialize Photoshop because of a disk error."

Any idea, what's wrong?

doesn't help. Seems, that I need to install Win10 and restart with a clean new system.
