Photoshop crashed and I'm wondering if my image got autosaved? I worked on it all day yesterday and would hate to lose it. Would it be on the cloud somewhere?

Did you save your image in all day long editing? If you haven't saved your work anywhere during editing then Photohop may load saved version immediatelly after starting it. Recovery version may be avalable only if you have turned on Automatically Save Recovery Information Every > [number] Minutes in Preferences > File Handling.

You should always save regularly and make back-up copies.

If you saved your doc as a cloud document (pdsc), at any point in the day, then your updates might me retrievable.

However if you are working on a local copy then only the last update where you pressed save will be available. Never go a full day without saving and, when you do save, Save As with an incremental filename (e.g filename001.psd, filename002.psd etc) that way if there is an issue saving you only lose the last step.
