Hey, ive been having this issue for a while now. Ever since I upgraded my PC photoshop has been screwing up. I have a feeling its my GPU, however I've been playing games on my pc and do not have any crashes or problems. I have tried different versions, reinstalling software (wacom and photoshop) and cleaning out my GPU hardware. I have no idea how to pin point the problem and fix it. Here is a recent crash I had.

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Have you tried turning off the GPU in the Preferences and/or changing the Drawing Mode? That is where I'd start. This can help diagnose the issue.

Right, i'm trying this again. So if this is the issue what does it mean? I bought a new GPU. Is this a hardware issue or software? Turning off my GPU isn't a long term solution but I understand If that leads to a better diagnosis. Would be nice to know what this issue is usually linked to.

So I've been messing around for a bit and no crash. What does that mean then? It can not be the GPU itself because its brand new. Is it the motherboard to GPU? or the PSU cable?  Its unbearable to try and work with the GPU off.

Well I'm pretty sure is photoshop accelerating my GPU and causing my system to block the GPU from photoshop. Now the important part. How do I fix this? And don't say uncheck the GPU. I need it to work.

Hey, I went through most of these and even acquired a new GPU( NOT CHEAP) and still persist with the crashes. I even wiped my hard drive. Really need to know if there is an existing problem with particular hardware and any known issues in general.
