I'm trying to see spots on my image, and then use heal on them.

I copy the background layer to make an unlocked copy.

Then I add a curves adjustment layer to reveal the spots.

Then I click on click on the background copy layer and try to use the spot healing brush.

I click on a spot and nothing happens. The is no indication that I have clicked. There's no dark "fill" within the heal brush to indicate a click and the spot remains on the background copy.

Spacing 2%
