I have a document in the left panel and I want to create a new sub-category in the right panel. This right panel has many hundreds of documents, so, when I create the new sub-category and click OK I want to be able to drag the new sub-category over to the document in the left panel. But it doesn't stay put. It jumps down to its position in the alphabet and I have to scroll through the alphabet to drag it to the new document. My previous version of Photoshop behaved properly and it was quick and easy to drag a new sub-category to the document it was named for. I am using Photoshop 2020. Can someone help me with this little problem?
