crop lines interfering seeing the edge properly

This was a bit less of a problem in the past but now with my latest photoshop update and the large handles now on the crop marquee, I'm struggling sometimes to see the absolute edge of the image unless I zoom in. When we're scanning film, we try to include as much of the image as possible but that means that scans often need to be cropped a bit after to get rid of tiny bits of frame line or film rebate. I have trouble seeing tiny slivers or frameline because the white crop marqee is covering them.  When editing thousands of images, these little things become frustrations and reduce the speed I can work.

Hi, Photoshop 22; that has just been released today, does have fix the large crop handles as seen in its fixed issues list https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/fixed-issues.html#photoshop-desktop-fixed-issues  I recommend to install it while keeping the older version installed, as explained in: https://helpx.adobe.com/be_en/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html   If you are not seeing it, go to help>check for updates in your CC application. Maybe try to use Marque Tool (M) and then Image>Crop Command?
Somtimes is less frustrating and easier to do

Cool!  That might just do it. I gave it a try after setting a shortcut key for the corp command. I think that might solve my issue. I'll know after a few hours of editing if it sets in and can become muscule memory.

If you are not seeing it, go to help>check for updates in your CC application.

I think it is better than to use the classic mode, or other workarounds.
